Early Career Preventionists Network (ECPN)
The Early Career Preventionists Network (ECPN) is dedicated to fostering the professional development of prevention science researchers, practitioners, and advocates. Our members include masters level preventionists, pre-doctoral candidates, post-doctoral fellows, assistant professors and research associates as well as practioners, educators, administrators, and advocates who have been in the prevention field for a few years. A variety of senior preventionists provide ECPN with regular input and mentoring. "Early career" was chosen to describe our group because our membership includes a variety of professionals who have recently entered the field of prevention as a second or third career.
ECPN is a standing committee of SPR and sponsors a variety of activities throughout the year and at the Annual Meeting.
